The Alpujarra is placed between Sierra Nevada, the Lújar range and the Gádor range. It finds its way to the Mediterranean Sea from the Mulhacén, the highest peak of the Iberian Peninsula. Its landscape is rough yet colourful, its orography is scattered with ravines, canyons and valleys, where the villages of this district lie and sometimes climb.
The town of Órgiva, a peculiar place for the rural tourism lovers, has historical monuments like the Parochial Church, the Palace of the Counts of Sástago and the hermitage of San Sebastian. The Cervantes’ classroom of the Hurtado de Mendoza Municipal Library is one of the most visited places. The previous librarian, Agustín Martín, has put together in 34 languages diverse editions of the universal Don Quixote of the Mancha.

Pablo and Andrea´s little house is a villa with just one bedroom for two or four people. It is surrounded by a 1,000 square metres garden of orange and olive trees. This private villa is based in Las Barreras, 3 Km. from Órgiva, in a calm and warm place, a perfect holiday home for a couple or a family. This home has a lovely living room, with double sofa-bed, with fireplace and kitchen, one double bedroom and a complete bathroom with shower.
